Earlier this year I was delighted to be chosen to participate in the first IFOAM Organic Leadership master class in South Korea.
As soon as I entered the country I fell in love with South Korea. Although I visited a few months ago I’ve just seen on my social media channels about an earthquake and so I wanted to share my story and some of my pics from a very memorable trip.
We were greeted with such enthusiasm and gratitude eveywhere we visited. The positivity shown towards organic agriculture was awesome and something I’ve not experienced anywhere else in the world to date.
Spending the week in beautiful surroundings with organic leaders, pioneers, advocates and campaigners from around the world was an experience I will cherish.
It was so uplifting to take off the blinkers and appreciate the diversity of organic agriculture operating around the globe.
Unfortunately I was unable to meet up again with my IFOAM alumni in India last week at the Organic World Congress, but the good news is, I believe the 2020 World Congress will be held in France so much closer to home for me!
